Yes. We offer free delivery and pickup within the City of Charlottesville. Delivery and pickup are available for surrounding counties for an additional fee, based on location. Contact us to confirm delivery options for your address.
Brake requirements vary by trailer. All towing requirements for each trailer are listed on its individual trailer page. Under Virginia law, trailers over 3,000 lbs GVWR are required to have brakes, and most tandem-axle trailers fall into this category. As a result, any tandem-axle trailer will require a brake controller. Vehicles without a factory brake controller may use a wireless brake controller if compatible. Proper operation must be verified before trailer release.
For safety reasons, trailers cannot be released without the required towing equipment. We’re happy to help you confirm your setup before your rental to avoid any issues at pickup.
Yes. A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals and is returned after the trailer is inspected upon return. The renter is responsible for any damage beyond the deposit or not covered by insurance.
Late returns may result in additional charges. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you.
For customers who choose full-service dumping, we deliver the dump trailer, pick it up once loaded, and handle disposal at the landfill. Dump fees are passed through at cost, plus a flat handling fee. Final charges are billed after disposal is completed once actual dump fees are known.
